SC & ST Committee
It is informed to all staff and students that, a committee for SC/ST has been constituted with the following members for the academic year 2021-22 to enforce as per the Scheduled Casts and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989, No:33 of 1989, dated 11/09/1989. The committee shall meet regularly and the problems of the students shall be resolved.
Objectives:
- Counsel and guide SC/ST students to effectively manage academic and personal challenges in college life.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all SC/ST students.
- Provide prompt counselling for any emotional emergencies arising from events on campus.
- Establish a mechanism to address grievances of SC/ST students, if any.
- Ensure protection and reservation as provided in the Indian Constitution.
- Raise awareness among SC/ST students about various scholarship programs offered by the State Government and UGC.

Examinations Committee
Examinations are the final and crucial aspects in student’s career development which gives them the credit of their academic performance and help in building up their career and future. To monitor proper, smooth conduct of the exams by the exam cell, a committee consisting senior faculty headed by a senior professor is most essential. The main objective of the committee is to monitor the operations of the exam cell and render proper guidance and assistance in all respects so that exams are conducted smoothly.
Objectives:
- To identify core problems faced by the exam cell.
- To ascertain whether all the supporting logistics and facilities are available in the cell for their smooth conduct.
- To continuously monitor their activities. To ascertain and inspect their registers and records and guide them so as to maintain them in proper order.
- To identify the problems faced by them and take remedial measures by discussing the matter with the Principal and Management.
- To verify all the records, files and registers regarding students exam fee, exam schedules, practical exams fee, issue of hall tickets, stationery records, financial accounts etc.
- To refer the matters if any regarding irregularities in the operations and maintenance of records to the Principal and Management.
- To guide and assist the exam superintendent in arranging the transport and providing hospitality to the external examination.

Grievances & Redressal Cell
Any organization having number of employees shall cater to a mechanism to address their grievances. Hence Grievance redressal cell is constituted for periodical hearing of employee grievances, establish genuine of the grievance recommend measures for its redressal to the higher authority within the frame work of the service rules and procedures of the college. Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. Hence education should bring in moral, ethical values of wellbeing to learners and every educator and educating institution should strive hard to bring in the core human values in the process of learning.
Objectives:
Disciplinary Committee maintains discipline, dignity, decorum and rapport of the institute. Controlling the students through rules and regulations and channelization their youth energy into positive and creative direction and promotion of the manners, personality, character and civilization
- To maintain the activities of college joint venture in regards to disciplinary act.
- To uplift the student’s potential and to develop them as a balanced citizen in the society.
- The institute is driven with a passion and mission for imparting peaceful, safe and friendly environment.
- To scrutinize and prevent any indisciplinary activities (lack of attendance, unpunctuality, misbehaving with staff, parents or friends, damage to college property) and riots.
- To provide a medium through which the committee can monitor and control the discipline of its students.
Role and Responsibilities of the Committee members:
The members of this cell have to follow these points as under:
- The Student Discipline Committees constituted for the maintenance of discipline in the college. The committee will ensure that students obey rules and remain orderly and peaceful in the pursuant of educational objectives/goals in the college
- The Committee is responsible to follow all the Discipline as well as to check that the ‘Code of Conduct’ should properly follow by each & everyone who belongs to college.
- Students shall not engage themselves in action that are offensive to good and are disservice to succeeding generation of students of the college.
- Students must observe strict discipline in the campus; behave with dignity and courtesy to the principal, faculty members, administrative staff, visitors and fellow students.
- Political activities and the functioning of student’s organization are strictly banned in the campus. Unofficial meetings, strikes, demonstrations, agitations, and fund collection are strictly prohibited. Students who violate the above rules are liable to be dismissed from the college summarily.
- No student shall bring in to the college campus or hostels any banner, flag, board, notice, pamphlet or other such materials for purpose of any political activity of student organizations or other organisations.
- No meeting or entertainment shall be organized nor any fund collected in the college or the hostels without the permission of the Principal.
- Students should not go outside the college during class hours. In the event of unavoidable necessity they should seek special permission of the Principal / Head of the Department.
- Staff members/Discipline Committee shall have the powers to deny admission to students to classes/office/ labs/library/meetings/cultural programs and other programs in the case of violation of the dress code of the college.
- Students shall always wear identity cards issued by the college with tag and show them as and when demanded by the Principal, teachers and office staff/ security staff.
- No student shall use or keep in possession alcoholic drinks or drugs. Using/keeping of these items will lead to immediate expulsion of the student from the college and hostels.
- Only Formal dress codes are allowed on Saturday.
- No usage of mobile phones in the premises of college during the working hours.
- Without proper reasons no students are not allowed outside of the class rooms.
- Violating the above rules and regulations student should present in front of disciplinary committee and give proper explanation.

INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE
ESWAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is dedicated to provide reliable, safe and secured academic environment to students and working ambience to all female staff members. As per the guidelines of Supreme Court, UGC, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013, an Internal Complaints Committee (Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell) has been established by the College.
Objectives:
- To develop a policy against sexual harassment of women at the institution.
- To promote awareness about sexual harassment through educational initiatives that encourages and fosters a dignified and safe environment for women on campus.
- To provide a neutral, confidential and supportive environment for the campus community.
- To ensure fair and timely resolution of complaints about sexual harassment.
- To provide information regarding counselling and support services on the campus.
- To ensure that students, faculty and staff are provided with current and comprehensive information on sexual harassment and assault.
- To uphold the commitment of the Institute to provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
Roles:
- To act as complaint authority on a complaint of sexual harassment.
- To take proactive measures for sensitizing students, staff on gender issues.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment -Redressal Mechanism
Procedure for logging in complaint: Complaints should be submitted either through email or by post or in person as soon as possible after an incident has occurred, preferably in writing with his or her details of name, designation, contact number and address. The complaint should provide the following information:
- The name, department and position of the person allegedly committing harassment.
- A description of the incident(s), including the date(s), location(s) and the presence of any witnesses.
- The names of other individuals who might have been subject to the same or similar harassment.
All complaints and investigations are treated confidentially to the extent possible and information is disclosed strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Procedure for resolving the issue:
- On receiving the complaint by the Women Welfare Committee (WWC), the Chairperson of WWC will initiate an enquiry by forming a committee with the members along with the approval of the Principal. The committee will meet and interview the complaint, the respondent and any witnesses to determine whether the alleged conduct occurred.
- Upon conclusion of an investigation, the Chairperson will submit a written report of the committee findings to the Principal. The committee will recommend appropriate disciplinary action. The appropriate action will depend on the severity, frequency and pervasiveness of the conduct, the quality of the evidence. Finally, recommendations submitted will be implemented by the Principal.

The College’s Minority Cell was established with the purpose of empowering the minority communities within the college. Upholding the principle that “Every student has a right to education,” our institution is committed to providing services to meet the educational and cultural needs of the Minority community, alongside other castes, creeds, and nationalities. Responsibilities of NSS Programme Officer
- The programme officer is expected to motivate student youth to understand the values and philosophy of NSS.
- The function of PO is to help students to plan, implement and evaluate the activities of NSS under charge and give proper guidance and direction to the student volunteer.
- PO plays the role of organizer, educator, coordinator, supervisor, administrator and public relation officer to improve the quality and magnitude of NSS programme.
- The P.O must undergo orientation course within one year of the date of selection.

A NSS Volunteer is a student in the college who has enrolled his / her name in the National Service Scheme.
